Quality Assurance Technician

Note: US Citizen required for this position

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities:
Works under general supervision to assist with the development and implementation of program quality plans and procedures
Reviews testing plans methods and equipment to assure reliability of products in conjunction with product design and specifications.
Reviews quality data and determines if products and processes are aligned with regulatory standards and customer requirements.
Analyzes corrective actions and process reengineering.
Conducts basic to moderately complex quality analyses and inspections.
Reviews flowcharts forms data records communications and audits prepared by lower level staff for quality implementation and compliance.
Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) for the business unit in accordance with *** quality policies and procedures compiles information and prepares reports result

Qualifications/Experience Needed:
Experience using measurement hand tools
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
Inspection and audit experience of products and/or processes
Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or in the absence of a HS diploma GED or AA/AS degree 4 years of relevant experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
FAI (first article inspection) experience
Manufacturing experience
Knowledge of Continuous Improvement processes
SENTRI fast pass
