Catchpoint Automation Tester

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop automation test scripts for Catchpoints monitoring platform.
• Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify and report any issues or anomalies.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to understand testing requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of automated testing processes and frameworks.
• Work closely with the quality assurance team to troubleshoot and resolve any automationrelated issues.
• Participate in peer reviews of test scripts and provide constructive feedback.
• Conduct performance and load testing to assess system stability and scalability.
• Identify opportunities for test automation and make recommendations for its implementation.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and trends in test automation.
• Document test cases procedures and test results thoroughly.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in automated testing using Catchpoint or similar monitoring tools.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python JavaScript or Ruby.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with performance and load testing tools.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a fastpaced environment.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
• Relevant certifications in software testing or automation is a plus.
• Knowledge of monitoring and analytics concepts is advantageous.
