Overview:
The Catchpoint Automation Tester plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Catchpoints monitoring platform through automated testing. This role is integral to the organization as it directly impacts the performance and effectiveness of Catchpoints products ultimately contributing to customer satisfaction and trust.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automation test scripts for Catchpoints monitoring platform.
- Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify and report any issues or anomalies.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand testing requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of automated testing processes and frameworks.
- Work closely with the quality assurance team to troubleshoot and resolve any automationrelated issues.
- Participate in peer reviews of test scripts and provide constructive feedback.
- Conduct performance and load testing to assess system stability and scalability.
- Identify opportunities for test automation and make recommendations for its implementation.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and trends in test automation.
- Document test cases procedures and test results thoroughly.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in automated testing using Catchpoint or similar monitoring tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python JavaScript or Ruby.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with performance and load testing tools.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a fastpaced environment.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
