Your Role
We are hiring a motivated and detailoriented Metrology Engineer. This role will be responsible for both coordination and being on the floor. The successful candidate will have experience with thermal mapping and general calibration with a strong technical aptitude and mechanical mindset.
- Perform handson calibration of a wide range of equipment and instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Conduct thermal mapping studies for controlled environments to validate and optimize equipment performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve calibrationrelated issues in collaboration with maintenance and engineering teams.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify and prioritize calibration needs.
- Coordinate calibration schedules ensuring timely execution and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all calibration and thermal mapping activities comply with relevant industry regulations (e.g. FDA cGMP).
- Maintain accurate and uptodate documentation for all calibration and thermal mapping processes.
- Additional responsibilities as required.
Requirements
- 25 years of experience in metrology with a focus on calibration and thermal mapping in the pharmaceutical industry or FDA regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (FDA cGMP CFR part 210/211 CFR part 820 etc.) related to metrology.
- Ability to perform calibration and metrology work in both laboratory settings and manufacturing settings.
- Strong technical aptitude and mechanically inclined.
- Demonstrates strong drive to learn.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining highquality standards.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
