Overview

Key responsibilities

• Assist in patient assessments and document findings
• Implement nursing care plans for patients
• Provide basic nursing care to patients
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Monitor and report patients condition and reactions to treatments and medications
• Assist in patient education and discharge planning
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records
• Adhere to infection control policies and protocols
• Respond to emergencies and provide urgent care as needed
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education
• Maintain a clean and organized healthcare environment
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families
• Follow all regulatory and ethical standards in nursing practice

Required qualifications

• Diploma in ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery)
• Valid ANM nursing license
• Proven experience as an ANM staff nurse or similar role
• Strong knowledge of nursing care procedures and protocols
• Excellent understanding of patient safety and quality improvement principles
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients families and healthcare team members
• Good physical and mental stamina to handle the demands of the role
• Basic computer skills for maintaining electronic medical records
• Willingness to work in shifts and flexible schedules
• Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patient care
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused in highpressure situations
• Knowledge of medical terminology and equipment
• Commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards in nursing
• Current CPR certification
