The QHSE Specialist will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality, health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards. This role requires a strong understanding of QHSE principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in these critical areas.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Develop, implement, and maintain QHSE programs and policies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential QHSE risks and non-conformities, and develop strategies for mitigation and improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of quality, safety, and environmental responsibility throughout the organization.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and develop corrective and preventive actions to minimize future occurrences.
Analyze QHSE data and metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for enhancing performance.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on QHSE policies, procedures, and best practices
- Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies, customers, and other stakeholders on QHSE matters.
