Surgical Scrub Technician - PERM

Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has an opening for a permanent fulltime Surgical/Scrub Technologist. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Location: Moab UT 84532

Assignment Start Date: 4/8/2024

This is a fulltime yearround beneficial position.

Schedule pattern: Scheduled weekdays requires oncall responsibilities including rotating evenings weekends and holidays. Available to take an average of 810 call days per month (up to 14 depending on staffing levels) with a 20minute response time to hospital

Starting Pay Range: $22 $31/hour OR $45760.00 to $64480.00 DOE.

Anticipated start date: 10/30/2023

This position plays an essential role by assisting surgeons during operations and ensuring the operating room is sterile at all times. Scrub Techs must possess phenomenal efficiency and attention to detail with a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient safety. Our ideal candidate is a compassionate critical thinker and can act effectively in emergencies.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

• 1 year of Surgical Tech experience preferred but not required
• Certified Surgical Tech preferred but not required

Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:

• Current BLS Certification

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques
• Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions
• Indepth knowledge of surgical operation procedures preferred
• Prior experience as a scrub/surgical technologist preferred
• Experience with central sterile processing preferred
• A great team player with excellent communication skills including oral written and listening skills
• Cooltempered with emotional and physical stamina and able to respond effectively in stressful situations with changing circumstances
