Job Description

Overview

The Resident Medical Officer (RMO) BHMS/BAMS plays a crucial role in providing primary medical care to patients within the organization. They are responsible for conducting medical examinations diagnosing illnesses and overseeing patient care under the supervision of senior medical staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting medical consultations and assessments for patients.
  • Diagnosing and treating common medical conditions.
  • Prescribing appropriate medications and treatments.
  • Monitoring and managing patient care plans.
  • Assisting in surgical procedures and emergency medical interventions.
  • Performing minor surgical procedures as required.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Keeping accurate and updated medical records.
  • Providing health education and counseling to patients and their families.
  • Adhering to medical protocols and best practices.
  • Participating in ongoing medical training and professional development.
  • Overseeing medical equipment and supplies inventory.
  • Managing and triaging patient admissions and discharges.
  • Participating in multidisciplinary medical team meetings.
  • Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Homeopathic Medicine (BHMS) or Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS).
  • Valid and current medical license to practice.
  • Minimum of 13 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical medicine and primary care principles.
  • Proficiency in medical diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy and compassion towards patients and their families.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Detailoriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Sound understanding of medical ethics and patient confidentiality.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with medical team members.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Adherence to healthcare regulatory requirements and standards.
