Job Description
Hiring for a 6 month plus contract for a Family Health Nurse Practitioner for the Adult Inpatient area.
- The position will be full time 40 hour per week MondayFriday (84:30pm).
- Candidates must be certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner with a minimum of 3 years experience.
- Work with adult inpatients with backup coverage of Children/Youth inpatients when their nurse practitioner is off duty (i.e. vacation).
- Conduct admission physical exams. Assess and manage medical needs of hospitalized patients (census of 41 adults).
- Order and review labs. Initiate and/or coordinate consults/referrals with outside specialists and ER transfers when indicated.
