Learnlife is seeking a multitalented Learning Guide to cocreate our primary age program.

Tareas
Role overview:
- Guide learners through daily learning experiences tracking their growth needs and individualised planning. Work collaboratively with the learning team to oversee learning in particular areas for all three programme groups: Adventurers (ages 57) Discoverers (ages 8 & 9) and Pioneers (ages 1012). Establish Individual Learning Plans as needed for learners needing higher levels of support as well as enrichment opportunities for those ready for varied areas of growth.
- Work in collaboration with the Learning Team to design and execute meaningful learning experiences for learners ages 512.
- Maintain a healthy culture and climate for learners promoting confidence agency and selfmanagement skills as they become selfdirected learners. Recognize when these areas are lacking and provide the support needed in partnership with the rest of the learning team and the family.
- Work in close collaboration with the Learning Guide Assistants and interns.
- Serve as mentor and primary point person for learners. Communicate regularly with the parents of mentees (in person meetings and email) meet with mentees on a consistent basis and discuss their progress with the rest of the learning team to keep a pulse on their areas of strength and need.
- Participate in regular planning collaboration and professional development with the Eco Hub learning team. This includes weekly planning and collaboration as well as more intensive design phases between cycles.
- Coordinate as needed with the larger Learnlife community including operations finance and admissions.
- Set an example to learners of our community (Eco Hub) and company (Learnlife) values.
Requisitos
You bring:
- 35 years experience working with 612 year olds most of which is in innovative learning environments.
- Bachelor degree in primary education will be a plus
- Experience in developing and implementing learning experiences from ideation through implementation and analysis.
- Experience developing and delivering nontraditional literacy programs. Bonus points for experience with phonics.
- Native Bilingual or C2 level of English is a must and Spanish would be preferred.
- Ability to quickly connect and build trust with children.
- Experience in supporting primary age learners: guiding facilitating mentoring counselling tutoring etc. At the core of all of these is the capacity to build strong positive relationships and to identify what role you need to play for each learner.
- Capacity to draw from a wide variety of learning methodologies and apply them appropriately based on the context and the learner.
- Ability to work collaboratively and creatively in a fastpaced agile environment
- Willingness to learn from failure ask for help when you need it embracing an iterative process.
