BACKGROUND

Our project aims to investigate the benefits of incorporating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into medical notetaking. MCE is actively sourcing medical professionals from various limited toPhysicians Physicians Assistants Nurse Practitioner Medical Residents with emphasis on Family Medicine.

This data collection will take place at a local CENTRL Office Suites MCE Los Angeles HQ

DURATION:
Patient information is prompted. Not real data so no HIPPA to be concerned with.We anticipate each participating professional and patient to dedicate 120 minutes ofrecording time with doctors. Total of 2.5 hours willencompass introductory activities orientation microphone preparation engagement audio quality checks and concluding wrapup.

SCENARIO:
Participating medical providers will engage in a simulated environment where 12 patients will rotate through assigned rooms interacting with 5 or more healthcare professionals. Each provider will have a maximum of 10 minutes per patient encounter. Patients will share their last doctor visit and symptoms as their chief complaint. There will be no physical interactions; verbal communication is key.

COMPENSATION:
Patients will receive $70 for a total of 120 minutes of recording time which includes approximately 2.53hours with switching and administrative tasks in between. During each session patients will interact with a total of 7 12 medical professionals with each interaction lasting approximately 15 minutes or less.

Ideally all interactions will occur within one day. However depending on the scheduling of the medical professionals there may be occasions where more than one session is needed to complete the required recording time. i.e. Sunday.
