Senior Software Engineer - Platform amp Data Model

We are looking for a senior software engineer to join one of our platform and data model teams in Stockholm. We are looking for someone who can bring fresh ideas from a lot of different areas such as distributed computing largescale system design and architecture frontend development and UI design. We put a strong emphasis on team collaboration we work in crossfunctional teams where you are not handed requirements but rather problems to solve. You engage and take responsibility for your part of the product with your peers.

Learning is central to us. We work with small iterations and deploy to production several times a day.

What you will do

The team youll join is responsible for central parts of Funnels product. They collaborate with most of the other engineering teams at Funnel. Its a group of friendly senior developers who love working together (as a pair or mob).

The team will be responsible for a distributed system. This system uses an API to provide data from a data lake to other teams within the company. Our goal is to make this platform more flexible and performant ultimately enabling a much wider use of the data. This includes empowering our customers to model their data through our nocode user interface as well as facilitating advanced data analytics.

As Senior Engineer at Funnel you will be responsible for everything from system design to deploying monitoring and implementing code. We believe in putting the customer at the heart of everything we do designing our product to address their needs and exceed their expectations.

Skills and Experience

• Around 10 years of experience in different programming languages and systems and you enjoy trying out new technologies
• JavaScript / TypeScript
• Frontend development making great userfriendly interfaces
• AWS general understanding
• Proven experience with distributed system design & architecture
• Worked with large data lakes and data warehouses
• Handson experience in agile teams and ways of working
• Fluent in English

This role is located in Stockholm. We value inperson collaboration in the office and as such we work the majority of the time from our offices.
