Job Description
Title: Snowflake Environment Security Engineer
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Ensure Security in Snowflake Environment: Implement and maintain security best practices within the Snowflake environment including access controls encryption and monitoring.
2. Develop Python Scripts for Data Processing: Create and maintain Python scripts to facilitate data processing tasks within the Snowflake environment ensuring efficiency and reliability.
3. Deploy and Manage Snowflake on AWS: Oversee the deployment and management of Snowflake on the AWS platform including configuration optimization and troubleshooting.
4. Collaborate on Data Pipeline Projects: Work closely with crossfunctional teams to design develop and optimize data pipelines ensuring smooth and efficient data flow throughout the organization.
5. Resolve Technical Issues Promptly: Act as a point of contact for resolving technical issues related to the Snowflake environment providing timely troubleshooting and resolution to minimize disruptions.
6. Proficiency in Python: Demonstrate strong proficiency in Python programming language leveraging it for data processing automation and script development.
7. Familiarity with AWS: Possess a solid understanding of AWS services and infrastructure particularly as it relates to hosting and managing Snowflake within the AWS environment.
8. Strong Communication Skills: Effectively communicate with stakeholders team members and management to convey technical concepts provide updates on projects and address any concerns or issues.
