Sr Accountant

Senior Accountant Salary target is $80K

Position Summary: The Senior Accountant will report to the Controller. This role will be responsible for the daily and monthly reporting for multiple entities.
Key Roles / Responsibilities:

• Analyze and maintain the general ledger to ensure accuracy of coding and costs.
  
• Reconciliation of intercompany accounts as well as investments in subsidiaries
  
• Preparation of monthend entries including payroll interest expense and revenue accruals
  
• Prepare and maintain balance sheet account reconciliations.
  
• Assist with supervision of A/P and A/R personnel.
  
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and prepare monthly depreciation entries.
  
• Assist with annual budgets and forecasts.
  
• Preparation of monthly financial statements and reports
  
• Preparation of adhoc reports as needed.
  

Required Education Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in accounting
  
• 3 5 years accounting experience demonstrating a strong proficiency with accounting and financial principles
  
• Retail or Consumer Products company experience is
  
• Strong computer skills including Excel.
  
• Strong character and ethical values
  
• Possess strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks.
  
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to be effective at communicating with all levels of the organization as well as suppliers vendors and customers.
