Position: AWS Senior Solution Architect
Location: Remote (Office at least a few days a week but local to San AntonioTexas)
Duration: Long Term

Responsibilities:

Project:

Converting & migrating the existing onpremises Enterprise Application Integration Architecture consisting of:

1. ESB Enterprise Service Bus

2. ActiveMQ Message Queues

3. Multiple Services Applications

4. ETL Integrations

5. File Transfer Services etc... to AWS Lambda AWS Step Functions and many other AWS Services. Essentially converting the whole existing Application Integration middleware/landscape to Pythonbased Lambda functions and processes to AWS Step Functions and migrating the converted landscape to AWS.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Architect who can lead the project of converting the infrastructure mentioned above to AWS services.

We are seeking someone with a broad range of expertise in terms of both breadth and depth in at least the following AWS services

Amazon S3

AWS Glue

AWS Lambda (Expert)

AWS Step Functions (Expert)

AWS SES SNS SQS

AWS Data Sync

AWS RDS

AWS DynamoDB (

SQL (Expert)

Python (Expert)

Position:

Deep understanding of middleware integration architectures including ESBs Message Queues Microservices orchestration.

Ability to understand existing architecture and codebase in the above domains.

Install configure and maintain AWS EKS clusters to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Indepth experience in understand BPMN/Workflows/Processes/Plans and converting them to AWS Step Functions.

Indepth experience of implementation and orchestration of microservices.

Indepth experience of building Python based API integrations.

Indepth working knowledge of Python and the Pandas library SQL Query writing and optimization Stored Procedures etc.

Good working knowledge of Enterprise Bus Service and Message Queues.

Good working knowledge of any one of the following ETL tools: Informatica AWS Glue DataStage ODI

Proficiency in working with AWS databases including Amazon RDS Amazon DynamoDB.

Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform for defining and deploying AWS resources.

Proficiency in working with Azure DevOps to create and deploy the CICD Pipeline for AWS ETL Infrastructure.

Knowledge of AWS security best practices and experience in implementing secure data handling encryption and compliance measures.

Experience in migrating large volumes of data between onpremises systems and AWS using tools like AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) or custom solutions.

Proficiency in setting up monitoring tools logging mechanisms and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of ETL workflows.

Understanding of AWS networking principles including VPCs subnets and security groups to design and configure the network for ETL processes.

Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills to identify and resolve issues during the migration and transformation process.

Experience in change management processes and documentation practices to maintain a record of modifications and enhancements made during the migration. Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelors degree in computer sciences or relevant field

10 years of experience in Enterprise Application Integration & AWS Cloud
