Job Description

Overview:


The Senior Manager Banking Alliances plays a critical role in developing and nurturing strategic partnerships with banking institutions to drive growth and enhance the organizations market position. They are responsible for negotiating and managing alliance agreements ensuring the alignment of business objectives and driving mutually beneficial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for banking alliances to maximize market reach and revenue opportunities.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements including pricing service levels and key terms in collaboration with legal and finance teams.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate alliance strategies into overall business plans and sales initiatives.
  • Lead crossfunctional teams to drive the implementation of alliance programs and ensure seamless execution.
  • Monitor and analyze alliance performance against set targets and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential banking partners.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the banking alliances team fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all alliance activities.
  • Represent the organization at industry events conferences and client meetings to strengthen partnerships and identify emerging trends.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop and promote joint offerings and gotomarket strategies.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on alliance performance and market trends to senior management.
  • Manage alliance budgets and resources effectively to achieve desired results.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments and competitor activities to inform alliance strategies.
  • Foster a culture of excellence collaboration and innovation within the banking alliances team.

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance or related field; Masters degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in negotiating and managing strategic partnerships within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth and market expansion through alliance relationships.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze complex financial proposals and models.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels.
  • Leadership experience in building and leading highperforming teams.
  • Indepth understanding of banking products services and industry regulations.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and drive consensus among stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple alliance partnerships concurrently.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute innovative partnership strategies.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Sound knowledge of market trends competitive landscape and industry best practices.
  • Ability to travel as necessary to meet with banking partners and attend industry events.
  • Professional certifications in alliance management or related field will be an advantage.
