As a Java Software Engineer you will:

• Work within one of our DevOps teams to develop expand and manage software solutions.
  
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team working closely with other teams to achieve seamless development to production transitions and application renewals in a microservices architecture using Spring Boot Docker Kubernetes and Java.
  
• Enhance our planning capabilities allowing for more efficient use of the network and ensuring accurate information delivery.
  

What You Bring to the Table:

• A demonstrable HBO/WO thinking level and a strong background in Agile/Scrum/DevOps environments.
  
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in the Dutch language.
  
• At least 5 years of work experience with Java and 3 years each with Spring Boot and Microservices.
  
• Experience with Docker Kubernetes Grafana Prometheus RabbitMQ REST SQL JPA Hibernate Pact Cucumber JUnit WireMock testcontainers Git Azure DevOps Maven Nexus SonarQube and CI/CD pipelines is highly desirable.
  
• A curious analytical mindset and the ability to work as a Tshaped team member offering both indepth specialist knowledge and broad capabilities to assist colleagues when necessary.
  

You Should Possess the Ability to:

• Realize deploy and continuously improve software solutions with your DevOps team sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster team development.
  
• Monitor and manage applications in production including participation in an oncall rotation to resolve exceptional disruptions outside office hours.
  
• Enhance software quality through test automation and apply Agile and DevOps principles in close collaboration with your team and stakeholders.
