You will be responsible for all aspects of kitchen operations including but not limited to:
- Ensuring high quality & consistency of food items while keeping to the minimum turnaround time.
- Overseeing the kitchen staff to ensure that the highest quality of cuisine is served to our guests and ensure that all food and labor cost goals are met.
- Conducting regular department meetings and reviewing daily & monthly reports to provide reliable data to the management.
- Implementing and upkeep hygiene & safety standards.
- Leading and handling the overall operation of the kitchen and team.
- Working on financial budgets (e.g. food costing kitchen accounting P&L reports).
- Working with management to develop and maintain updates on the menu and the marketing plan
- Achieving kitchen business goals.
- Leading each team members performance.
- Providing training mentorship and development of all kitchen team member
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a Culinary Degree or equivalent experience
- With 3 years of experience as a Head Chef.
- Ability to oversee and manage kitchen operations.
- Ability to remain productive when pulled in many different directions.
- Ability to track expenses and manage a budget.
- Ability to lead and inspire a team.
- Ability to delegate tasks effectively .
