Senior Golang Developer

Bilge Adam Technologies’ International Business Unit is looking for a Senior Golang Developer to join our growing team. Our teams support many clients in the UK and EU across industries.

Tech Stack:

Programming languages: Mainly Go, Python (Django), and Lua;

Network protocols: DNS, TCP, UDP, IPv4, IPv6

Databases and messaging: Redis, NATS, LMDB, Postgres

Kubernetes, Docker Compose

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of features for our DNS-filtering solution, guiding other developers.
• Ensure high-volume, low-latency recursive DNS service effectiveness and high availability.
• Design smart scalability solutions and prioritize monitoring and alerting.
• Occasionally contribute to other Golang-based DNS solutions like Lightning Stream.
• Collaborate with Product Management on future architectures and implementation approaches.
• Automate processes to prevent redundancy.
• Support Sales Engineering and Support teams with technical queries.
• Continuously explore new technologies for product improvement.

Requirements:

• Experienced in Go for backend systems with a focus on resilient software.
• Proficient in network protocols (TCP, UDP, IPv4, IPv6, DNS).
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and Kubernetes/Docker.
• Skilled in troubleshooting across code, systems, and networks.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
