An advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in Communication, International Development or similar field.
A minimum of Five (5) years of relevant professional experience in writing/editing and layout of reports and publications.
Proven experience in drafting as well as ensuring quality assessment for high-quality reports in line with the UNICEF writing style, branding, and reporting guidelines.
Good knowledge of development and programme issues, especially with children's issues and UNICEF's work in an asset.
Geographic knowledge of the Middle East and Northern Africa is an added advantage.
Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
