Situated in Washington D.C. this hybrid role merges the flexibility of remote work with the requirement for occasional onsite presence ensuring optimal collaboration and effectiveness. Your role will be central to ensuring that critical systems are monitored threats are identified and addressed and the integrity of sensitive information is uncompromised.
Successful candidates are required to have a Topsecret Security Clearance. However candidates can start off with an Active Secret Security Clearance.
In this role you will:
Design and develop the Application and Infrastructure monitoring dashboards alerts and automated health checks using Splunk and IT Service Intelligence (ITSI)
Perform event monitoring of systemgenerated and manual identification of events (nonvoice)
Support Splunk administrative tasks
Splunk monitoring
collaborate with others
Lead crossfunctional discussions with minimal direction
Requirements:
Candidates must have:
5 years experience with Splunk
Handson knowledge of developing and designing monitoring KPIs dashboards glass tables and business transaction flows (expert)
1 years experience with Splunk IT Service Intelligence (ITSI)
3 years experience with Infrastructure Management
Experience managing onprem and Cloud infrastructure
Technical SME for system monitoring leveraging industry best practices for observability
Preferred qualifications:
Understanding of Azure Monitoring tools and services
Education:
Bachelors Degree or Associates Degree plus 3 additional years experience
