Overview: As a Business Development Manager youll focus on growing market share profitably in strategic markets and accounts. Youll engage customers understand their needs and provide solutions while ensuring alignment with our business strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Acquire new business and applications
2. Maintain existing accounts and relationships
3. Identify and evaluate new opportunities
4. Develop and improve value propositions
5. Manage product portfolio and pricing
6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders
Skills Needed:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Independent decisionmaking ability
Leadership and management skills
Technical sales experience
Understanding of financial metrics
Fluency in English additional languages a plus
Minimum Requirements:
Master s degree or Degree in Business Marketing or Technical field
Over 5 years of technical sales experience within firms providing engineering solutions to FMCG industries
Expertise in value selling process with good understanding of B2B selling process
Ability to travel 5060% of the time
Fluent in English language with other additional European languages a plus
Strong computer literacy
Ability to acquire knowledge of adhesives performance and applications of product range within 6 month period
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with industrial multinationals
Fluency in English and Swahili French a plus
Willingness to work in different countries
