Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated API test scripts using Java and Rest Assured
• Execute automated API test cases using Postman
• Contribute to the design and implementation of the QA automation framework
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify and prioritize automation opportunities
• Review and analyze test results to identify and report quality issues
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide input on quality assurance processes
• Conduct API performance testing and analyze performance metrics
• Contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Document and communicate test results and provide recommendations for improvements
• Stay updated with industry best practices and technologies related to API testing and automation

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field
• 6 years of experience in API testing and test automation
• Proficiency in programming with Java
• Handson experience with Rest Assured framework
• Strong proficiency in using Postman for API testing
• Experience with implementing and maintaining automation frameworks
• Indepth understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fastpaced collaborative environment
• Experience in conducting API performance testing and analyzing results
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools
• Certifications in quality assurance and test automation are a plus
