Responsibilities:
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies for military aviation positions.
Source screen and interview candidates with a background in military aviation including pilots technicians engineers and support personnel.
Utilize various recruitment channels including job boards social media networking events and referrals to attract top talent.
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future job openings.
Conduct thorough background checks and verify qualifications and credentials of candidates.
Coordinate and schedule interviews assessments and preemployment screenings.
Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the recruitment process including negotiating offers and facilitating onboarding.
Stay informed about industry trends regulations and best practices related to military aviation recruitment.
Assist with other recruitmentrelated tasks and projects as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
48 years of experience in recruiting for military aviation positions preferably within the defense or aerospace industry.
Strong knowledge of military aviation terminology regulations and requirements.
Proven track record of successfully sourcing and hiring candidates with diverse backgrounds and skill sets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
