About The Project

Our CV stack takes in pixels and outputs metrics. We identify human behavior within workplaces. We are looking for someone to redesign and implement a new system from the ground up. We have remote access to cameras with the ability to generate new datasets of human activity, pose and position. We have developed simulated environments with ground truth labels within Unreal. You will be responsible for a new system that enables a reduction in sensor cost by removing depth sensors. Great candidates thrive in uncertain broad problems - we are looking for a partner to guide us to the right answer. You will help us specify the requirements for our new sensors as well as design a prototype of our CV stack proving that it works both in the simulated environment and the real-world dataset. Our codebase is C++, and our devices have edge compute as well as private cloud workstations, but everything is on the table in this redesign that you will partner and lead with us.

Key Requirements

• Professional Experience: At least 6+ years in computer vision or related fields, focusing on practical, deployable solutions.
• Technical Skills: 5+ Expertise in C++ with a track record of developing and deploying computer vision algorithms in real-world settings.
• Project Leadership: Proven ability to lead conceptualization and prototyping projects.
• Educational Background: A Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related, with coursework or thesis in computer vision and image processing.
  

Nice to have

• Industry experience with physical hardware sensors from Robotics, XR or Autonomous Driving.
• Startup experience - we want someone who has experience testing and developing full CV stack solutions quickly. Our system is more than one module - it's the entire CV processing pipeline.
