A large multinational supplier with a turnover of $250M is seeking a talented Sales Director to join their business. The mandate of the role is to grow their LATAM market. Key target customers: Lojas Renner Falabela Paris (Cencosud) Ripley/Liverpool.

About the Business

My client is a multiproduct global supplier. They source from 100 factories across Asia Turkey and North Africa selling apparel accessories footwear and home products to retailers in the US and Europe mainly.

Sales Director: The Role

The key responsibilities for the role include

• Lead the Business Development for the LATAM market
  
• Manage and grow existing accounts
  
• Work closely with buyers on product development and concept
  
• Work closely with design and technical teams
  
• Work heavily with factories and managing the critical path ensuring timely deliveries
  
• Present new ideas and product concepts to buyers and closing new orders
  
• Building strong relationships and identifying gaps in the market
  

Requirements

Sales Director: The Person

The ideal candidate will be someone who

• has a strong network of buyer contacts in the LATAM market
  
• has a successful track record of delivering orders
  
• can speak in Spanish/Portugese
  
• can work with remote merchandising and production teams
  
• work independently with minimal supervision
  

The person can be based anywhere in Latin America. It will be remote to start with. A new office will be set up once there is traction.
