Junior Staff Accountant

Position Overview:

As a Junior Staff Accountant you will play a crucial role in supporting the daytoday accounting operations of the company. Under the guidance of senior team members you will assist with various accounting tasks including accounts payable/receivable general ledger entries and financial reporting. This position offers valuable exposure to accounting principles and practices as well as opportunities for professional development and advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Assist with monthend and yearend close processes including preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Perform basic financial analysis and reporting as directed.
• Assist with the preparation of audit schedules and documentation for internal and external audits.
• Support other members of the finance team with adhoc projects and tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in accounting finance or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• At least 2 years of experience as junior staff accountant or related field.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other basic accounting software (e.g. Famous SAP etc.).
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
