Job Overview
We are looking for a Registered Nurse with a patientfocused mindset who also looks to provide wholeperson care. This resource will provide amazing bedside care for our family of hospitals in the Los Angeles area. This team member would support out 300 bed hospital during our night shift.
Responsibilities:
Monitor record and update patient vitals to note any significant health changes.
Take detail oriented notes and vitals with the ability to deliver an assessment on patients health status to other team members.
Create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient
Demonstrate accurate assessment skills appropriate to the age of the patient based on scientific facts and principles.
Perform and document ongoing assessments including observation physical examination laboratory/test results and patient response to procedural intervention.
Participate in the identification and clarification of patient needs as evidenced by participation in multidisciplinary care planning to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Implement review and revise plan of care according to change in patients status.
Prioritize nursing interventions commensurate with patients needs.
Coordinate and document appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 13 years of experience working in an Acute Care/Hospital setting preferably within an Emergency Department
ADN or BSN in Nursing.
Active California RN license
Current BLS/CPR and ACLS certification.
CEN certification preferred but not required

Quick thinkers who can develop a treatment pathway and direct their team.
Ability to stay grounded and focused at all times in the ER.
Crisis management skills to assess and manage the emergency.
Highly flexible with their schedule to address patients current needs.
