Job Description

Location: Wethersfield CT(Hybrid 2 day Min office)
Pay Rate : 3032$/Hour on W2
Minimum Exp Required 4 Years
Key Skills: .NET C# and SQL.
The role entails providing support for applications.
The candidate will be involved in an upcoming initiative to replatform the mainframebased licensing system.
The candidate must have proficiency in mainframe platform skills including CICS batch analysis and SOAP web services.
The role requires skills in .NET development and web services with a focus on developing Restful web services.
The candidate will assist in the transition of a legacy mainframe application from CICS COBOL VSam to a .NET framework C# SQL environment.
The ideal candidate must be proficient in .NET C# and SQL.
The candidate must have a strong understanding of CICS COBOL VSam to support the legacy system transition.
The candidate should have strong skills in developing RESTful APIs to support data exchange between various systems.
The scope of work includes assisting with major projects crosstraining in generating web services providing daytoday support and assisting in replatforming mainframe applications to a new platform.
