The Section Manager Blow Molding is responsible for ensuring compliance with manufacturing financial and team management objectives in the blow molding area through the proper administration of material and human resources managing preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery and peripheral equipment to ensure ontime production delivery through compliance with established procedures aiming to make the business profitable.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering Food Science Chemistry or related field
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control
- Knowledge of PET blowing process and chemistry
- Knowledge of Raw Material and Packaging Material Inspection Techniques (Sampling Methods Use of Acceptance Criteria AQLs Military Standard)
- Knowledge of quality standards and systems for the food industry (HACCP GMPs GMA SAFE ISO 22000)
- Knowledge of maintenance of blow molding machines such as Sidel S1 Sidel S2 Universas Matrix Palletizers Labelers as well as peripheral equipment.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Proven experience in continuous improvement, process optimization, and project management. Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other relevant improvement methodologies is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and guide teams. Proficiency in data analysis tools and project management software. Working Conditions: This role may require occasional travel to various company locations or partner organizations. Flexible work hours to accommodate project needs and deadlines. The position may involve occasional extended work hours during critical project phases.
