The Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that raw materials and finished products meet quality and safety standards based on the quality control plan maintaining a high level of productivity in order to increase the companys profitability.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering Food Science Chemistry or related field
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control
- Knowledge of Quality Tools
- Knowledge of PET blowing injection and chemistry processes
- Knowledge of Measurement and Testing Equipment (Calibration R&R studies)
- Proficiency in instruments and measuring equipment used in the PET industry
- Knowledge of Raw Material and Packaging Material Inspection Techniques (Sampling Methods Use of Acceptance Criteria AQLs Military Standard)
- Knowledge of quality standards and systems for the food industry (HACCP GMPs NOM120 GMA SAFE ISO 22000)
Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Proven experience in continuous improvement, process optimization, and project management. Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other relevant improvement methodologies is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and guide teams. Proficiency in data analysis tools and project management software. Working Conditions: This role may require occasional travel to various company locations or partner organizations. Flexible work hours to accommodate project needs and deadlines. The position may involve occasional extended work hours during critical project phases.
