Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for daily operations of Patient Financial Counseling Outreach Department. Supervises the daily activities of Certified Application Counselors and support staff engaged in assisting patients with applying and enrolling in medical and dental insurance.
Engage in training support functions associated with Patient Financial Counseling. Assures staff compliance with Certified Application Counselor Organization regulatory requirements. Prepares a variety of reports and recommendations to monitor and improve staff performance and department operations. Works cooperatively with Patient Access Financial Services and other department employees and managers for the purpose of achieving the departmental goals providing excellent customer service and maximizing revenue opportunities for the Hospital.
