Job Description
- Responsible for the management of all Indirect Procurement activities conducted via the branch office of BAE Systems (Operations) Limited in Qatar providing an effective procurement service to the Typhoon Availability service, Technical Institute and Head Office.
- Investigation potential strategies for indirect buy for regional cover across BAE Systems international markets.
- The key interface with BSL (in country JV) responsible for managing both the day to day recruitment requirements for the successful delivery of our customer obligations while also working with BSL to define future growth and strategic alignment
- Provide an on shore procurement service to the Branch team in Qatar and OMAN, acting as the interface to the UK Procurement organisation and leadership.
- Providing advice and guidance on all procurement matters to influence and facilitate effective business decision making across the contracts including resolution of customer satisfaction issues and disputes. The role will be responsible for leading the management of applicable procurement agreements to meet business needs, manage business risk and maximise business opportunities.
