Job Description
Modeling of the Global Energy Systems to complement products covering various aspects of the Energy Transition
Translate client needs into technical requirements together with Product Managers and Analysts
Build systems for capturing structuring and storing data including gathering storing and updating in SQL databases. Data gathering is often done through developing Python scripts for data gathering of publicly available information
Develop data models for forecasting using system dynamics multiple regression and other types of modeling techniques and statistical methods based on product needs
Participate in the general research product development and client facing activities of the respective product teams
Experience and skills:
We are looking for motivated candidates with a strong academic track record analytical mindset as well as software development skills to strengthen our capacity within inhouse
modeling.
University degree (Master or Bachelor) within Engineering Information Technology Mathematics Physics or similar
Demonstrated knowledge of Python and/or C# is important
Demonstrated knowledge of database design and SQL programming is an advantage
Knowledge of machine learning techniques is an advantage
Proactive independent openminded and creative
Thrives in a fastpaced environment and strong multitasker
Good English skills both verbal and written
A positive person with strong motivation to personally develop and contribute to the company s development and growth
