Role : SAP ABAP Developer

Location : East Chicago IN (Onsite)

Experience : 10 Years

Visa : GC & USC

Responsibilities:

• SAP ABAP Developer will ensure the modules supported and their integration points with other systems and modules are aligned with the SAP road map

• Ensure sustainability of the SAP processes configured in all modules

• Ensure all new developments conform to standards and ensure the standards are kept up to date

• Hands on designing specifying configuring and approving to move changes to production

• Perform technical mapping gap analysis and recommend the best way to address the gaps

• Write and approve detailed technical specifications for workflow reports interfaces conversions enhancements and forms (WRICEF); Ensure that the solution implemented in each phase is consistent with the overall direction and the end state

• Author technical specifications at the level required for offsite ABAP or other technical development

• As an SAP ABAP Developer you will estimate the development effort as required

• Perform change reviews and promote change requests to production

• Coordinate self and other technical developers along with communication and support with business users

• Review and align with the IT teams to ensure accurate delivery of changes required by the business

• Provide level 2 support for production systems and project implementations as necessary

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent

• 10 years of experience in technical development roles

• Extensive experience in development and enhancement of custom Workflows Reports Interfaces Conversions Enhancements and Forms (WRICEFs)

• Experience in SAP S/4 Hana 2021 or combined with older versions including ECC

• Experience with ABAP Trace (SAT) PlanViz Trace for AMDPs SQL Trace (ST05) and ABAP Trace (ST12)

• Expertise in ABAP including ABAP Objects Smart Forms and Adobe Forms

• Strong knowledge of SAP modules and integration points FI/CO SD MM QM PP and PP/DS

• Solid understanding of SAP application architecture and best practices for ABAP development

• Understanding of the Company SAP landscape and architecture to better maintain the environment

• Familiar with Company views using ADT tools along with BOPF BRF and Restful APIs

• SAP Development skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient in SAP development tools: ABAP Workbench ABAP Data Dictionary and ABAP Debugger

• Proficient in module pool programming and objectoriented programming

• Be able to provide technical guidance review transport listings approve any infrastructure changes and approve installations
