Galileo GDS Travel Concierge

Responsibilities:

1. Utilize the Galileo GDS platform to search and book flights hotels car rentals and other travel services based on client preferences and requirements.

2. Assist clients in finding and selecting the best travel options including routing fare options and accommodation while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

3. Provide guidance and recommendations to clients regarding travel destinations visa requirements travel restrictions and other relevant information.

4. Handle booking modifications cancellations and rebooking requests promptly and professionally adhering to airline and supplier policies.

5. Manage client inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns related to travel bookings ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

6. Stay updated on industry trends airline policies and changes in travel regulations to provide accurate and uptodate information to clients.

7. Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth coordination of travel arrangements and deliver exceptional service to clients.

8. Maintain detailed records of client interactions bookings and transactions in the companys systems for future reference and reporting purposes.

Requirements

Requirements:

1. Proficiency in using the Galileo GDS platform is essential.

2. Previous experience working as a travel consultant travel agent or in a similar role is highly desirable.

3. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with a strong customer service orientation.

4. Ability to multitask prioritize tasks effectively and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.

5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling travel bookings and client information.

6. Knowledge of travel industry trends destinations and travelrelated services.

7. Flexibility to work shifts including evenings weekends and holidays as required.

8. Relevant certifications or training in Galileo GDS operations and procedures is a plus.
