Job Description
Required Skills: Middleware Administrator Tomcat Apache HTTPD Nginx
Mandatory Expectations:
Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills as well as handson expertise with Tomcat Apache HTTPD Nginx Administration Experience with JVM management
Realtime expertise in Tomcat Cluster Apache HTTPD and Nginx Configurations Practical experience in Service Management (Support Tickets Incident and Problem Management)
Capability to document processes efficiently and mentor other team members on such processes
Extensive experience with Linux and its monitoring tools
Working knowledge of Business Continuity operations such as backup/restore and disaster recovery
SQL programming PLSQL programming and optimizations
Knowledgeable about Database Network and Storage technologies
Using thirdparty tools services and scripts establish metrics and monitor the health/utilization of JVM and infra resources
Excellent working knowledge on Shell Scripting
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for middleware maintenance and system faults noticed by monitoring and reported by Application Support
Collaborate closely with application owners to assess and improve application and application environment performance and reliability Troubleshoot middleware issues and do root cause analysis
To resolve issues collaborate with system and application owners quality assurance release management and others
Work with application users to create thread dumps and its analysis
Active participation in incident and problem management
Participate in afterhours and weekend support as well as oncall help.
Active involvement in knowledge sharing and documentation
