Work Experience:

Review entire AWS RDS Analytics DB stack and build process to proactively monitor database

Conduct research on RDS Analytics DB traffic usage query pattern and provide recommendation on sizing

Conduct research on enabling Postgres Query Plan Management and provide recommendations to improve query performance and its implementation

Experience working with terraform

Conduct review of existing RDS Analytics DB traffic usage query pattern and provide

Conduct research on enabling QPM reviewing trace files and other QPM related parameters to provide consistent query plan

Qualifications:

PostgreSQL DBA experience in a 24x7 production environment

10 years of database management and engineering experience

BS in Computer Science Information Systems or related technical degree

Exceptional SQL development and performance tuning skills

Expertise with Postgres system metrics and optimization strategies

Familiarity with system level metrics and practical use of common Linux utilities
