Site Supervisor
Overview:
The Site Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating construction activities onsite. They are responsible for ensuring that projects are completed safely on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage all onsite construction activities.
- Ensure compliance with building codes safety regulations and other legal requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors subcontractors and suppliers to maintain project schedule.
- Monitor and report on project progress including budget timelines and quality of work.
- Resolve any onsite issues or conflicts that may arise.
- Implement and maintain site safety programs and procedures.
- Provide leadership and guidance to onsite staff and laborers.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure work meets standards and specifications.
- Manage and maintain onsite documentation including permits drawings and reports.
- Communicate regularly with project managers architects and other stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry.
- Thorough understanding of construction processes materials and equipment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong problemsolving abilities and decisionmaking skills.
- Knowledge of building codes regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Proficient in project management software and MS Office.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- OSHA certification and other relevant safety training.
