Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Specialist. As a Database Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing our database systems to ensure efficient and secure data storage and retrieval. Collaborate with other IT professionals developers and stakeholders to design and implement effective database solutions.

Responsibilities:

Database Management:

Design implement and maintain database systems.

Ensure the availability security and performance of databases.

Data Modeling:

Develop and implement data models for optimal storage and retrieval.

Collaborate with development teams to design databases for new applications.

Performance Tuning:

Monitor and optimize database performance.

Identify and address performance bottlenecks.

Backup and Recovery:

Implement and maintain database backup and recovery procedures.

Ensure data integrity and availability in case of system failures.

Security:

Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data.

Perform regular security audits and address vulnerabilities.

Troubleshooting:

Investigate and resolve database issues and errors.

Collaborate with IT support teams to troubleshoot and resolve databaserelated incidents.

Documentation:

Document database architecture configurations and processes.

Provide documentation for troubleshooting and future reference.

Data Migration:

Plan and execute data migration projects as needed.

Ensure data consistency and accuracy during migration.

Requirements

Qualifications:

6 7 years of SQL expertise you can write a query to do almost anything.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.

Proven experience as a Database Developer or similar role.

Proficient in SQL and other database technologies.

Strong understanding of database architecture normalization and indexing.

Experience with database performance optimization.

Familiarity with data security and privacy regulations.

Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

MongoDB and MySQL server experience including users permission backups recovery monitoring Indexing and more.

Ability to create complex query reports with optimization

Database tuning experience database integration design and implementation and management of database projects
