Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and resultsdriven Automation Sales Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales of automation products and solutions to new and existing clients. This role requires a strong technical background in automation systems coupled with excellent sales and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities:
  1. Identify and develop new business opportunities in the automation sector.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients understanding their automation needs and providing tailored solutions.
  3. Collaborate with the technical team to design and propose automation solutions based on client requirements.
  4. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
  5. Negotiate and close sales agreements ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  7. Provide postsales support and followup to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  8. Achieve sales targets and KPIs set by the management team.
  9. Collaborate with internal departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales preferably in the automation industry.
  3. Strong technical background in automation systems including PLCs HMIs SCADA and industrial networks.
  4. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  5. Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
  6. Ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively to clients.
  7. Selfmotivated with a strong drive for results and customer satisfaction.
  8. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  9. Willingness to travel as required.
