Job Description

Global client manufacturing company is searching for a lean professional to oversee projects. We will work quickly on this position. Person will develop and maintain a system of excellence that will produce long-term strategies and results. This is expected to be achieved by the CI process, standardized work, etc.


Essential Functions & Responsibilities


Develop an annual portfolio of projects that support strategic priorities at the site.

Develops and promotes the process of Continuous Improvement among the leadership and departments.

Produce a long-term strategy for the deployment of a lean operating system.

Contributes to the sites business strategy and the operational execution of the business plans.

Manages budgets derived from the cost management plan of specific projects.

Provides support in activities of savings initiatives.

Generates and manages budgets for derivatives of annual budget planning.

Candidate requirements include:


* Bachelors degree in related field with min 3 years experience in automotive parts manufacturing OR a more expanded experience directly related to these functions and that is demonstrated during the interview process.


* Automotive Tier 1 parts manufacturing is an absolute requirement.


* Must be commutable to Simpsonville, no relocation is budgeted for this position.
