Job Description

Were currently seeking an HR Operations Manager Americas to join our esteemed People team. In this pivotal role youll oversee daytoday HR operations ensuring compliance with pertinent laws and regulations while supporting our People Team in delivering exceptional service to both employees and the organization at large.

As the HR Operations Manager Americas your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and mentor our Americas team of People Business Partners fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Conduct performance reviews providing valuable feedback and support to your team.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the team structure and role definitions within a growing function.
  • Maintain regular checkins with your team offering guidance and advice for addressing People Ops and TA escalations.
  • Facilitate knowledge management and ensure the adoption of best practices.
  • Cultivate a positive work environment by encouraging effective communication and promoting team engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with HR and Regional Leadership Teams to formulate and implement HR strategies aligned with Roboyos growth goals and global strategy.
  • Ensure process accuracy and quality throughout the hiretoretire process identifying optimization opportunities.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs for the Americas region to drive continuous improvement.
  • Uphold high levels of HR stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Partner with our People CoE to develop materials on global and regional People Ops and Talent Acquisition processes and policies.
  • Oversee vendor and partnership management.
  • Monitor workforce planning and hiring demand for your region in close collaboration with your stakeholders and team.

People Operations (with a focus on Mexico and the United States):

  • Act as the primary point of contact and sparring partner for managers and employees regarding workrelated issues offering guidance counseling and resolution.
  • Stay updated on employment laws and regulations in both US and MX to ensure compliance with local labor laws.
  • Process and resolve employee requests through our ticketing system.
  • Collaborate closely with our payroll and benefits providers to ensure accurate payroll processes.
  • Conduct market research to ensure competitive compensation and benefits packages.
  • Assist in managing employee performance and salary review processes.
  • Take a leadership role in the implementation of a new HRIS/ATS.


Requirements

Experience and Skills:

  • 5 years experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role supporting the US and Mexico regions.
  • Previous experience in leading and coaching teams (partly remotely).
  • Prior experience in recruitment.
  • Familiarity with local labor laws and regulations in Mexico and the US.
  • Ability to work both handson operationally and strategically.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies systems and tools.
  • Strong strategic and critical thinking abilities.
  • Capability to navigate and thrive in ambiguous situations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Expertise in conflict management and deescalation techniques.
  • Ability to collaborate with senior leaders to assess complex issues and offer strategic HR guidance.
  • Excellent stakeholder management abilities.

Skills That Are a Big Plus:

  • Experience with HRIS tool implementation.
  • Proficiency in Portuguese.
