Internship Student mfd - Edge Application Developer IoT Software Engineering for IoT Tech-Startup

Livello is a tech startup focused on smart catering solutions. We are building a smart kiosk solution to help our customers have access to food in proximity in a 24/h availability seamlessly. We bring our products to 5 countries in Europe integrating different countryspecific payment protocols.
We are a 50employee company spread over different teams varying from management and sales to hardware production software engineering and computer vision. We embrace new technologies to create value and mutual success for our customers employees shareholders partners and the community.

Tasks

• Build Python/Java applications deployed on SoCs through containers
• Working on our Raspberry Pi controller to manage all electronic components locally and communicate with our Google Cloud deployed backend
• Integrating payment terminals gateways and payment protocols
• Quality assurance of the software through planning and automated testing
• Work with a crossfunctional team to define build test and deploy applications
• Version control with Gitlab and continuous integration are part of your daily work
• Our stack: Python Java Docker Redis MQTT Javascript GraphQL GCP Ansible

Requirements

• Handson experience with embedded devices ( Raspberry PI ESP32 Arduino )
• Knowledge of Linux Operating Systems ( and Unixlike systems )
• Experience using Docker MQTT Redis
• Proficient in Java or/and Python
• Enrolled in university (looking for a mandatory internship or working student)
• Fluent in English
