Job Description

Overview:

The QA Engineer (OTT) plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of overthetop (OTT) applications and platforms. They are responsible for testing identifying and resolving issues to maintain a high standard of quality for OTT products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans test cases and test scripts for OTT applications and platforms.
  • Conduct manual and automated testing to identify software defects and performance issues.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Use defect tracking tools to report and manage issues and work with development teams to resolve them.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of testing processes and tools.
  • Perform regression testing to validate the quality of OTT software updates and releases.
  • Conduct compatibility testing on various OTT devices and platforms.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and technologies in OTT testing
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to OTT applications.
  • Monitor key performance metrics related to OTT quality and user experience.
  • Exposure to Charles Proxy and Android Studio is recommended.
