Job Description
Role: Java Solution Architect
Location: India Remote (Work from Anywhere in India)
Minimum Qualification: B. Tech. (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
Indicative Experience: 10 Years
Domain: Preferably in Lifesciences / Pharma.
Customer Profile: Captive research and development pods for a $ 500 million group of pharma data research companies that help patients gain access to lifesaving therapies. We help our clients navigate the complexities at each step of the drug development life cycle from pipeline to patient.

Job Description:
As a Solutions Architect you will serve as the Lead Architect and expert for software applications and business solutions. You will deal with complex interrelated applications and systems requiring modern fullstack platforms and will work with rapidly evolving technologybased solutions and teams. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to analyze and define unique and innovative solutions for achieving strategic business goals.
To succeed in this new position you will:
- Work closely with Engineering and Product teams to come up with technical solutions to our complex problems
- Contribute to and define application architecture for both internal teams as well as external clients.
- Ability to transform Viable solutions with alignment with business and technology capability.
- Be able to perform POC to evaluate various tools and technologies and be able to create a Decision matrix around it.
- Have a strong sense of ownership of the solutions that your team works on
- Be willing to work with and invest yourself in learning new technologies programming languages databases etc.
- Be proactive and a selflearner.
- Communicate effectively
- Work closely with Engineering teams to propose and design solutions that are scalable with high availability and high fault tolerance.
- Evangelize EA tech principles best practices across the organization.
- Deliver results in an agile environment
Mandatory Skills:
- Building scalable fullstack solutions in a fastpaced environment.
- 10 years of experience as a technology leader designing and developing software solutions.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages including Java C# Framework/Core.
- Experience with serviceoriented and/or microservices architecture
- Experience with RESTful APIs
- Eventdriven/queueing mechanisms
- DevOps CI/CD
- Cloud Experience (AWS and/or Azure technologies a plus)
- Enterprise Architect Tools
- Experience solving for complex solutions that span multiple systems.
- Excellent Organizational and Project Management skills
- Outstanding communication skills
- Experience with Agile development and delivery Scrum Lean XP Kanban methodologies
- Experience with relational and/or nonrelational databases like Azure (Azure Data Factory/Synapse preferred) PostgreSQL DynamoDB SnowFlake etc is a plus
Nice To Have:
- Experience within pharma/healthcare sector is a plus
