Job Description
Role: Sr. Software Development Engineer in Test
Location: India Remote (Work from Anywhere in India)
Minimum Qualification: B. Tech. (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
Indicative Experience: 5 Years
Domain: Preferably Life Sciences/Pharma.

Job Description
We are looking for an experienced individual with great communication skills deep experience in software engineering and most importantly the ability and willingness to keep learning in this everchanging technology landscape. In this role you will work with internal and external developers responsible for the development and subsequent support of the various platform services components underpinning all the customerfacing applications across Norstella. As part of a large technology group you will work with product management architecture and other software engineering teams in support of the product development roadmap.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Review existing technologies for suitability and make recommendations for change
- Test complex API web and mobilebased applications that reference database backend systems.
- Help design code architectures to ensure testability
- Building test plans and defining automated product flows with acceptance tests.
- Creates and maintains automated test cases executes test suites reviews and diagnoses reported bugs and helps ensure overall system quality
- Designs develops maintains and troubleshoots automated suites of tests through continuous integration for valueadded feedback.
- Involved in peer code and test case review activities.
- Works with the engineering teams to derive testing requirements throughout the development cycle.
- Participates in the performance testing and analysis framework for a web services architecture containing ESB BPM and associated backend applications.
- Informs and takes responsibility for good automated test practice.
Key Requirements:
- 5 years as SDET
- 5 years of handson experience working with cloud technology (preferably AWS) and various AWS services
- like Lambda functions API Gateway DynamoDB RDS etc.
- Excellent knowledge of Node.js and the associated ecosystem
- Experience with other modern programming languages
- Experience with serviceoriented and microservice architecture
- Experience with Agile development and delivery of Scrum Lean XP and Kanban methodologies
- Experience with relational and /or nonrelational databases like PostgreSQL DynamoDB MySQL etc is a big plus
- HIPAA GDPR Data Security and Data Protection knowledge are advantageous
- Experience within the pharma/healthcare sector is a plus.
