Job Description
AS400 RPG Developer
Work Location: Remote
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled AS400 and RPG Developer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in AS400 and extensive handson experience in RPG RPGLE CLP SQLRPGLE and Query 400.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain AS400 applications using RPG RPGLE CLP SQLRPGLE and Query 400
- Proficient in SQL concepts queries and DB2/400 (Procedures Sub procedures etc.)
- Handson experience in Display file and Subfile handling/processing
- Exposure to Change management Objects/Source promotion from one environment to another
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with crossfunctional teams
- Conduct Technical Analysis and demonstrate strong problemsolving skills
- Familiarity with Design Development and Testing methodologies (Unit Testing/System Testing/Integration Testing)
- Good exposure to Jira is desirable but not mandatory
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an AS400 and RPG Developer
- Strong handson experience in RPG RPGLE CLP SQLRPGLE and Query 400
- Proficient in SQL concepts and queries with expertise in DB2/400 (Procedures Sub procedures etc.)
- Experience in Display file and Subfile handling/processing
- Exposure to Change management Objects/Source promotion
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Familiarity with Design Development and Testing methodologies
- Familiarity with Jira (desirable but not mandatory)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
