Role
You shall be the vertical lead for the Wholesale Payments (NEFT RTGS NACH Collections) domain and be a part of the Tech Leadership team. The role needs dynamic individuals who can evolve lead and drive new ideas. The core area of deliverables is to provide leadership in Wholesale Payments with significant adjacencies around Government Banking. Leading large Digital Transformation Projects with focus on industry best benchmarks and high CSAT scores from both internal and external customers in these high growth domains is the expectation. As a part of this group you will play a critical role in the areas like Application Management services Project Management. Shaping the organization s strategic direction fostering innovation and ensuring sustainable growth in a highly dynamic and regulated industry.
Key Responsibilities
Expertise in Wholesale and Transaction Banking processes Collections & Payments platform Government Business transaction processing and reporting.
Designing and implementing customized IT solutions to address specific business challenges and optimize processes.
Collaborating with stakeholders including business leaders and IT teams to align technology strategies with business goals.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and security protocols related to electronic fund transfers.
Implement governance standards across the portfolio: Audits (Internal External) DR Drills VAPTAppSec
Perform continuous review and adjustment of the organization structure and capacity plans to adjust to business priorities.
Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics including regulatory and business conduct across the Group.
Supports initiative teams with skills in process excellence project management facilitation problem solving accelerating transformation and value creation to drive toward required outcomes.
Has built a deep understanding of core banking products regulatory requirement the financial services industry and business processes and leverage this knowledge to solve audit observations.
Developing reviewing approving and periodically refreshing IT policies directives and operating guidelines.
- Monitoring KPIs and metrics to assess the progress towards achieving strategic objectives.
Staying updated with industry trends regulations and emerging technologies in Banking services to offer cuttingedge solutions.
Recruits directs motivate and develop staff maximizing their individual contributions their professional growth and their ability to function effectively.
- Managing and leading crossfunctional teams. Mentor and support the growth of highpotential individuals.
- Gives advice and counsels leaders in order ensure the steps tracking and expectations are consistent. Ability to engage at all levels including senior executives.
Qualifications
Master s degree from an accredited four (4) year college or university
- Extensive knowledge and firsthand experience of BFSI products and payment life cycle.
- Expert in full lifecycle software design and implementation with postimplementation support.
- Advanced in planning organizing and leading technology projects in Financial /Markets.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Experience working with senior business stakeholders and executive committees.
Role Proficiencies
18 years of experience in Corporate Payment Domain
Good understanding of Banking Functional requirement specifications.
- Ability to provide direction and leadership; able to deal with uncertainty.
Understanding of operational processes across functions / departments in the Bank/market
Excellent knowledge/experience in the application of Agile and lean approaches
Outgoing assertive and good verbal presentation and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal relationship building and influencing abilities.
- Ability to collaborate and work dynamically across a broad range of stakeholders.
- Highly disciplined and structured with an outcome orientated mindset and approach
