- Good written and oral communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex information to diverse audiences. An understanding of impartiality and why this is important to the House of Commons Library.
- Ability to work successfully within a team, upholding the values of equality, diversity and inclusion and understand why these are important.
- A passion for Library and Information Sciences or Archives field, with some knowledge of challenges and opportunities currently facing the sector.
