Primary Objective:To provide electrical discipline-specific engineering services to Worley and its clients, and technical support and supervision within the discipline and to other disciplines by leading a discipline team.Specific Accountabilities:Build positive working relationships with external parties such as customers, suppliers, and contractors.Support proposals by developing the discipline execution strategy, estimating costs, writing proposal content, and presenting to customers.Ensure discipline technical work and team activities meet all health, safety, environmental, and security requirements.Provide specialist technical support, supervision, and advice to the discipline and project teams; participate in peer reviews.Initiate, manage, and supervise engineering assignments on projects to meet project requirements on time and within budget.Organize and manage all aspects of the workload of a team of Electrical discipline engineers and designers within project schedules.Understand and apply the Project Execution Plan (PEP) requirements.Lead the production of detailed designs, drawings, specifications, data, calculations, and reports.Focus the team on achievement of milestones and other key project objectives.Ensure Quality Assurance work within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance systems.Take personal responsibility for safety and work within Occupational Health & Safety procedures.Job Specific Knowledge:Development of Single line protection, control, and metering diagrams for various substations and switchgears.Prepare detail design packages including AC and DC schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment layouts, cable and panel schedules, interconnections, power, grounding, and lighting layouts.Conduct and review Power System Load Flow, Short Circuit studies, and Protection Coordination.Extensive knowledge of international standards and their applicability.Industry-Specific Experience:Extensive work experience at a senior level within the Oil & Gas industry.Extensive technical, practical, and leadership experience in the electrical discipline in the same or similar industry, including experience managing and leading multi-disciplinary projects and teams.Education Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:Full-Time Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is mandatory.Candidates not holding this accreditation must be willing to achieve this within the probationary period.Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or undertaking the same will be an advantage
